This 5-day itinerary offers a captivating journey through the heart of Egypt’s rich history and culture. Upon your arrival in Cairo, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The adventure begins with a visit to The Egyptian Museum, home to ancient treasures like those of Tutankhamun. You’ll explore the historic neighborhoods of Old Cairo, including visits to the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Sergius Church, before discovering the imposing Great Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque.

This morning, your guide introduces you to the masterpieces of ancient art in The Egyptian Museum, including the treasures of Tut-ankh-amun. Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Serguis Church, drive to the Islamic quarter to stroll the Great Citadel begun by Saladdin and visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the “Alabaster Mosque”. After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the Great Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which has stood for the last 5000 years; continue onto ancient Memphis, the first capital of United Upper and Lower Egypt and Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. (B)
Day at leisure or optional day trip to Alexandria ( at a supplement cost of USD 160 per person ). Early Morning, drive through the Famous Egyptian Desert for the City of Alexandria also known as the Mediterranean Bride and Pride, we will visit the Catacombs of Kom Al Shokafa, Pompey’s Pillar, the Citadel of Kait Bay from outside the site where the Alexandria Light House used to be (one of the 7 wonders), Drive through the Cornish, and end the day with the Montazah Palace Gardens. Early afternoon drive back to Cairo. (B)
