Kiambethu Tea Farm is a lush tea plantation located 40 minutes from Nairobi in the town of Limuru.
0930 hrs – pick up at your Nairobi accommodation.
On arrival to this tranquil estate enjoy a cup of tea while learning the history of the farm.
Take a walk in the indigenous forest with a resident Kenyan guide who will identify the plants and explain how they are traditionally used. Keep a look out for Colobus monkeys as they scamper among the trees.
Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the verandah with sweeping views of the Ngong Hills.
Enjoy a delicious 3 course buffet lunch made with fresh produce grown on the farm and desserts topped with cream from their herd of Channel Island cows in your tour at Kiambethu Tea Farm.
